Items Lost From Inventory

Sometimes items will disappear from your inventory list. It is, sadly, a common problem. Restarting the viewer may not help. The first place to check is the Lost and Found folder in your Inventory and the Trash Folder.

You can verify they still exist by visiting the INVENTORY page after logging in to the user management pages at http://nzvwg.otago.ac.nz:8002/wifi

This is commonly caused by the viewer not having an up to date version in its local cache and the fix for this is to clear the network cache in the viewer's preferences (CTRL+P) and restart the viewer. Check you are clearing the disk cache and not the browser cache (which won't do any harm but just won't fix this).
